Young Professionals for International Cooperation

State of Michigan Residents, Students and Professionals can join UN-YPIC and partake in opportunities that involve international affairs. The chapter is seeking an active membership body to in inform the public of its existence and need for volunteerism efforts. The chapter is paid membership based to professionals and free to students.

The Young Professionals for International Cooperation (YPIC) is a program of the United Nations Associations of the United States of America (UNA-USA) that seeks to engage young professionals to promote effective US involvement in international affairs and in the United Nations. As part of UNA-USA, YPIC provides emerging leaders with resources to act on issues of national and global importance. UNA-USA YPIC members are typically under 40 years of age and come from professions in business, law, government, nonprofits, the arts and philanthropy. UNA-USA YPIC provides members the opportunity to interact with young professionals from all walks of life. It also offers a unique forum in which to learn more about current international issues, the United Nations and the work of of UNA-USA. Mission

UNA-USA YPIC supports the mission of UNA-USA, which is dedicated "to educating, inspiring and mobilizing Americans to support the principles and vital work of the United Nations, strengthening the United Nations system, promoting constructive United States leadership in that system and achievement of the goals of the UN Charter." Additionally, UNA-USA YPIC is committed to providing information and opportunities to young professionals across the United States.
